What did we get up to in Carers Week?
Our Young Carers takeover at Banana Ben's Play Centre and Café (funded by Amser).
Huge huge thank you to the staff who were absolutely amazing and couldn't do enough for us! Thank you to all our families who attended and made this such a fantastic evening.
Then continuing our carers week celebrations with a drop in at Ysgol Rhwabon.
And we have something extra special to share with you!
After months of hard work from our young carers the ID card video is ready!
Our young people were passionate about raising awareness of the Young Carers ID Card and you will see why when you watch the video.
Huge thanks to NEWCC - North East Wales Community Cohesion and the N.E.W Leaders project for making this possible. Thank you to Joe @ Filmage for all the fliming and creating the video and to NEWCIS Young Carers Flintshire for helping with ideas to get this project off the ground. So so proud of everyone that took part in this. Please share far and wide to allow the ID Card to gain as much recognition as possible.
We also had the Young Carers in Schools programme uploaded onto Hwb.cymru.
